Embark on a creative journey into the captivating world of wax modeling with this experience and create your own jewelry.
It is an immersive workshop that introduces participants to the fundamental techniques and artistic possibilities of this versatile medium. It provides a comprehensive introduction to the art of molding and shaping.
FEATURES:
Wax is valued in the jewelry-making process for its flexibility, ease of manipulation, and ability to capture intricate details, making it a crucial material in the creation of high-quality jewelry. I will show you the different types of wax available in the market, we will see what each one is used for and we will experiment with different types of techniques. Each participant will decide how to work their final piece.
The course includes all the tools and materials needed for the workshop. The casting and metal cost will be charged separately.
In case you have an idea in mind for the jewelry to be made, I recommend bringing references or drawings. Please keep in mind that this is a 2.5 hour workshop where we will see a lot of material and therefore do not bring a complicated piece to make.
By the end of this workshop, participants will have a final piece in wax that I will cast later and deliver it in 925 recycled sterling silver after 2-3 weeks.
No previous knowledge of jewelry is required and these are EXPERIMENTAL WORKSHOPS.

During the workshop all the necessary tools will be provided and different specialized waxes for jewelry will be used.
Bring a notebook to make notes.

The final piece you make will be cast in 925 recycled silver.

In case you choose the one-session course, the pick-up of your piece transformed from wax to silver can be done two weeks after the date of the workshop. If you are out of town, I can send it to the address you provide.
If you choose the two-session course, we will find a date for you to come to the studio to work on it two weeks after the course.
